VIAC
English speaking group running activities in the Var region of France

The group is characterised by its informal relaxed atmosphere, attending or arranging events at short notice.

It seems that the principle of the Ad Hoc Group continues to baffle some people, so here is another explanation.

Basically, it is a way for people to advertise to other members, an event outside of VIAC that they are attending. For example, a trip to a museum or a show, that other VIAC members might be interested in joining.

You will receive a forwarded email stating, for example, “Sue KingtonSmith is attending an (event) at (venue) on (date). If you are interested in joining her, please let her know.”

NO ORGANISATION WILL BE DONE BY ANY COMMITTEE MEMBERS OR THE PERSON ADVERTISING THE EVENT. IT IS UP TO THE AD HOC MEMBERS TO ORGANISE THEMSELVES, BOTH IN TRANSPORT, COST AND MEALS.

Example of past events:

Trip to Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and Greek Villa Kerylos at St Jean Cap Ferrat
