VIAC
English speaking group running activities in the PACA region of France
Co-ordinator Rod Joyce tel: 0494 68 59 93 (see Contacts page)

Open to all members and their guests. Walks are usually a couple of hours duration and are relatively easy although you should always wear suitable walking boots/shoes and bring a bottle of water.

All walkers do so at their own risk. No liability is accepted by VIAC or the walk organizer(s).

Well behaved dogs are permitted on our walk but we ask owners to put their dogs on a lead whenever we are obliged by the terrain to walk in single file.

The next walk arranged by VIAC will be on Thursday 28th March. We shall be doing a 5 km walk around the Dramont hill on the coast just beyond St Raphael. Atop the hill is the weather station

It is of low/medium difficulty for a VIAC walk with some rocky paths. Dogs need to be on a lead on some stretches as there are steep descents to the sea. The views towards Agay and St Aygulf as one rounds the headland are spectacular. Probably take lunch at an oriental buffet in Frejus/Puget.

Future dates for your diary: 26th July 2019

We are currently planning monthly walks and ask each of our regular walkers to contribute one walk during the year. You need only choose a [favourite] walk you would like to share; check it out a few days before the event; choose a suitable place for a modest lunch (or picnic).
